Diphucephala species
Green Scarab Beetle

Conservation status: Least Concern

There are 69 described species of Diphucephala in Australia. They have been found all over the mainland continent, as well as in Tasmania. Adult Diphucephala beetles eat the leaves of a wide variety of plants and the larvae live in the ground and eat roots and other organic matter.
