Possibly a 5th instar (the 5th and final nymph stage).
It could have been a Poecilometis patruelis Common Gum Tree Bug, which looks
very similar but is quite a large bug at 25mm length. This bug was only about
15mm in length, so we believe it to be a Theseus modestus.
