Amata trigonophora
Tiger Moth

Conservation status: Least Concern

The Amata genus has 36 species in Australia. Many of them are very similar in appearance and the different species can be difficult to identify from each other. However, they are typically brightly coloured (yellow/orange and black) with boldly patterned wings and striped bodies, which give them their common name of "Tiger" moths.
