Cormocephalus species

Conservation status: Least Concern

There are 18 species of Cormocephalus in Australia. Centipedes can be very difficult to identify, particularly just from photographs. These centipedes found in Girraween are most likely to be Cormocephalus brachyceras, which is quite common in south-eastern Queensland.
