Puff Balls

Usually globular in shape, Puff Balls don't have gills or pores, but produce their spores internally.

They are called "Puff Balls" because when the mature fruiting body bursts or is struck by something such as falling raindrops, the ball acts like a bellows and clouds of dust-like spores are puffed out into the air.
