Rhinotia species

Conservation status: ?

The genus Rhinotia belongs to the very ancient family Belidae. They can be found in Australia, South America and other places that were once part of Gondwana. They are the insect equivalent of marsupials. There are more than 175 species of Belid Weevil described and named in Australia.
