Conservation status: Least Concern


This species is also found in New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia. It is a fairly large dragonfly and a strong flier.

Adults are dark brown to black with cream markings. The wings are clear.

It prefers slow-flowing water, with lots of plants and fine sediments on the bottom.
