Conservation status: Least Concern


This species has been found in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.

It is a smallish dragonfly with a wingspan of up to 65 mm. It is a slow flier.

Colours are black with yellow markings. The wings are clear and the green eyes are separated. Males have a pair of widely separated yellowish appendages on the tip of their abdomen.
