Snakes

Blindsnakes
Blindsnakes are small, nocturnal, non-venomous creatures that burrow in soft soils and live under rocks and logs.

Colubrid snakes
Most colubrid snakes are non-venomous and are fairly harmless. The family includes about two thirds of all snake species on earth.

Elapid snakes
All elapids are venomous and many are potentially deadly. They have a pair of fangs through which they inject venom into their prey.

Pythons
Pythons are a family of non-venomous snakes which kill their prey by suffocation.
