Underground or not Underground?

An interesting example of stream erosion of a granite sheet can be seen at Underground Creek. Here, Bald Rock Creek has undercut the side of the slab and some time in the past, the overhanging edge of the granite has collapsed. The fallen blocks have covered the creek's channel, giving the impression that the creek is flowing underground.
