The "blueing" typical of Boletes is very obvious on the cut specimen (left of the photo) and the bruising on the stem of the fruiting body (right).
This particular fungus has not yet been fully identified. It is important to note that all fungi are protected in Girraween National Park. This specimen was collected by someone who has a special permit to do so.
