Usnea scabrida subsp. elegans

Conservation status: Not listed.

This is a fruticose lichen that grows on trees, usually on Acacia and Callitris species. This species is known to grow in the open forests of central and south-eastern Queensland, inland New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. It is a common sight in Girraween National Park.
