The flowers of Lagenophora stipitata look very similar to Brachyscome stuartii Stuart's Daisy in colour and shape. The two plants can be easily told apart by their leaves. Lagenophora stipitata has broad, solid-looking leaves in comparison to Brachyscome stuartii's narrow, deeply lobed leaves.
