Stypandra glauca
Blind Grass, Candyup Poison, Graceful Blue-lily, Grass Lily, Nodding Blue-lily

Conservation status: Least Concern

Flowering:  Spring into Summer
Flowers:Colour is variable and ranges from a deep blue through to white. Anthers are a very obvious – bright yellow and "woolly". The flowers tend to hang facing downwards and this gives the plant its common name of "Nodding" Blue Lily.
Plant:A grassy-looking tufted plant with leaves alternating up the stems. Grows to 1.5 metres in height.
Habitat:Rocky areas in dry forest, woodland and heath.

This species is quite common across southern Australia and it is even grown as a garden plant. It is closely related to the genus Dianella and the flowers are very similar in colour and shape.
