Inside the Visitor Information Centre


Got a question about camping, bushwalking and the flora and fauna of the park? The friendly staff in the Information Centre will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

The Visitor Information Centre also houses a three dimensional display. While you are there, have a look around and find out about some of the wonderful things you might see during your time in Girraween.

There are three sets of displays which are each usually on show for about four months. These displays reflect what the rangers are doing in the park at that particular time of year...

Wildflower Season
This display has information on the local wildflowers and native animals.
(September - December)

Pest Control
This display is about Girraween's problem plants and animals and the rangers' programs to control them.
