Chapter 1 - A Place Called Home


With Girraween National Park's present-day walking tracks, camping areas and day-use areas attracting over 100,000 visitors a year, it's hard to imagine a time without these visitors or the infrastructure that's in place to support them.

The area was, however, once full of people with dreams and aspirations for themselves and their families. It was a place called home!
